Stengel bzw. Stamm: Einzeln, Scheitel spärlich filzig, in der Trockenzeit stark eingezogen, bis 12 cm ∅, bis 8 cm hoch; Rippen meist 13, dick, stark geschweift und ± weit in Höcker zerteilt, grau- bis blaugrün, unten schmale Verbindung zum nächsten Höcker, diese rundlich kegelig-kantig, gerade oder schief gestutzt; Areolen bis 2,5 cm entfernt, rund bis etwas länglich; Stacheln meist 4, bis 1,5 cm lang, pfriemlich: Mittelst. 0

Blüte: 4 cm lang und ∅, trichterig; Sepalen schmutzig weiß, unten grünlich, mit rosabräunlicher Mitte; Petalen lanzettlich, zugespitzt und gezähnelt, weiß mit zart rosa Rückenstreifen, zuletzt rein weiß, glänzend: Staubfäden gelb; Gr. weiß, oben rosenrot; Narben 8, goldgelb.
