Blatt: Blätter gegenständig, elliptisch, zugespitzt, gesägt-gezähnelt, oberseits kahl, unterseits auf den Nerven meist rauh.
Stengel bzw. Stamm: Höhe 1-2 m.
Blüte: Blüten in Rispen. Kelchsaum 4- bis 5 teilig. Blumenkrone 4- bis 5 blätterig, weiss. Staubblätter 1(3 und mehr Griffel tief vierspaltig. Blütezeit Mai, Juni.
Frucht bzw. Samen: Frucht eine drei- bis vierfächerige, scheidewandspaltende Kapsel.
Vorkommen: Mehi-fach verwildert in Südtirol und Steiermark vielleicht einheimisch.
