Medizinisch:
Die Pflanze wirkt schweißtreibend und pektoral, sie wird bei Wassersucht und Fieber verwendet. Der Blattsud wird bei Halsentzündung und Asthma getrunken. Die Wurzel wird gekocht bei Rheuma verwendet.
