Blätter: zu Asche verbrannt mit Koka gekaut
Medizinisch:
Die Blätter wirkend harntreibend, als Aufguss werden sie bei Fieber, Herzproblemen, Leberproblemen, Blasenbeschwerden und Nierenbeschwerden genutzt, der Blattsaft wird als Augentropfen bei Augenproblemen verwendet. Die Rinde dient innerlich der Behandlung von Nierenproblemen, äußerlich der Behandlung von Wunden, Verletzungen und Abszessen.
