Medizinisch:
Stiel und Blätter werden in Kamerun traditionell bei Durchfall,
Blutarmut, unregelmäßiger Periode, Infektionen des Harntrakts, Hämorrhoiden und Frakturen verwendet. Die Wirkung bei Magengeschwüren wurde in Studien nachgewiesen.
